I started taking guitar lessons at age 11
from Mike Somerville of Head East.
My first band was "High Voltage" also
at age 11. We knew one song, "Living
After Midnight", and till this day my
parents know the song by heart. I
started to study music and played in
various rock bands in High School
(Saint Charles High School, St.
Charles, Missouri). I continued to study
Music at Southern Illinois University
at Edwardsville and graduated with a
BA Double Major in Music and Mass
Communications in 1996. After college I
played in a project with Wayne Brady
(from "The Wayne Brady Show" and
"Whose Line Is It Anyway") . I was also
in many other bands / projects in the
St. Louis area like "The Mims". I
joined Pinkeye D' Gekko in 2004 and
it was AWESOME! We toured with
Lynyrd Skynyrd and Dickey Betts.
We also opened for Chuck Berry, Ted
Nugent, Marshall Tucker, VanZant,
Lone Star, and many other bands.
Currently I'm the guitarist for country
artist Steve Richard. He has had
numerous country and Christian
Country hits (you can get more info by
visiting his website
www.steverichardmusic.com ) He also
won Best New Artist at the 2009
Christian Country Music Awards. John
Rich from Big & Rich wrote and
produced 5 songs on his first CD, and
his latest songs are produced by famed
Nashville Songwriter/Producer Phil
O'Donnell aka "Philbilly. " We have
opened for ZZ Top, Montgomery
Gentry, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen,
Flynnville Train, Whiskey Falls, Eric
Church, and Halfway to Hazard. We
have also toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd,
Craig Morgan, Bryan White, and Jr
Brown.
